Hello, I recently received a vintage Lily Mills Table Loom made in Shelby NC. I am absolutely a beginner and it did not come with any information. I think it’s a two harness loom, but not even sure of that. Any help?
thank you- Debi
Hi, Yes, they are 2 harness looms. Mine came with no information too. Look on Youtube for videos explaining how to use a 2 harness table loom. There are also books ( Amazon, Woolery.com,) that will explain how to use 2 harnesses. I like videos better myself. The loom is easy to use and you will enjoy it. Unfortunately the company has been out of business for years. These were made for the home weaver to use. Mine sits on a table and is easy to move to another location if needed. Check for rust on the reed and heddles. It will need to be cleaned off if there is some. A wire brush or 3M pad will work. Enjoy I hope this helps.
Thank you! I have been searching but didn't know what I didn't know! You saved me a lot of time. Again, thanks,
