Let's get together on Webex!

If your computer has a speaker and microphone, or you can add them like I have, please join the Double Dares Meetup on Webex on Thursday, October 6th at 4pm Eastern,  I know it's late if you are living in UK but it's the only time I could find that might work for everyone.  Please let me know if you can join.  When I get the link I will post it here for anyone who wants to join.

See you Thursday!

Sounds good to me.  Maybe by that time I'll have my warp wound on the warp beam.

If I can figure out if it is possible to webex on my computer I will be there - I won't be warping my loom until next week but . . .

I can try.  I never seem to get the webex to work.

Maybe I will be started on this project by then.  The very first day I hit a snag.  I chose a draft from Davison and before I tried the modifications to make it double weave rather than overshot, I input the draft into fiberworks - it doesnt look at all like what it is supposed to look like.  I triple checked the threading, tie up and treadling and there are no errors that I can see.  And I havent even tried the alternating colors for overshot patterned double weave.

Also struck out trying to add the project - I have no idea where in cyperspace it is.

An update on my draft:  the reason that the pattern didnt look like it was supposed to is because I accidently combined two different treadlings.  I am keeping the mistake draft in my files because it was interesting, just not what I was expecting.  I may try to weave it someday.  Now my issue is that the draft I chose has 303 threads - to make this doubleweave will entail 606 threads and I am not sure that I want to be threading that many ends for this dare.

For help with both the WEbex thing and adding projects, we have both written explanations and help videos in the Help section HERE.  Also, when we meet, I can show you how to find more info on how to add projects.  If you go to the Projects page and on the left side you can click on Add a project or watch a video about how to add a  project or "read about adding projects" so help is right there on the left side of the page.

Hope that helps.
