Of all the benches you have sat upon or seen what features do you like best?  Is there one brand that has it all or almost all you need?

I have a Toika which I have owned for several years.  I like it because it is adjustable, it's very solid and well made.  I have had 2 other benches and they did not compare.

Both my husband and I have  a Walt Turpening bench. They are wonderful. He custom makes the bench to your measurements and to the your loom. So you are position comfortablely at your loom. As he lives around here, we know several people that has his benches and everyone love them. Sally

I have a LeClerc Rocking Bench. The seat is able to tilt forward and back as I weave. I find using this bench very comfortable.

I don't have a bench; I use an old office chair that has the arms removed (from children).  I like it so much becasue I can adjust it to very low to thread the heddles and then raise up to get to the reed and weave.  It's also padded, so it is very comfortable.

I have a modified (by adding height) Harrisville bench.  It adjusts so I can use it with three different height looms and can be set to rock (which I like) or not.  I can also just place the seatboard across the bottom tool box for a low seat for threading. It saves money and space by having just one bench for three looms.

I have a couple of adjustable Toika benches.  The height is very easy to alter. Because they are so heavy, I have found an extra use for the bench seat.  When I am beaming the warp (back to front), I lay the warp on one bench, and place another bench seat on top of them, and then wind my warp.

I also have a wonderful Walt Turpenin bench, handcrafted and made to the specs of my loom and my size.  Just beautiful craftsmanship and works as it was designed to do... allow me to weave comfortably.

I'm another very satisfied owner of Walt Turpening's benches.  I have two of his benches as the height needed for my 40-shaft AVL is very different from that needed for my portable Macomber.  The custom-made benches are well worth the wait.

I like my rocking bench as it's height adjustable, I'm short. Being it rocks, it seems to easier on my back as it's not constantly in the same position.
