Trial PB 5

Target: 5 PB 5/10

Last Trial  Results: 5PB 5/8

Colors:

BLUE 95% DOS 2.85

Fuchsia 5% DOS 0.15

CLOSEST TO DATE -

My problem: my fuchsia is a higher chroma - if i add less, the chroma will continue to plummet -

My pure fuchsia is highest at a DOS of 4 with a chroma of 18,

My pure blue is highest at a DOS of 4 with a chroma of  10

Blue is the majority to maintain proper hue - any mix automatically lowers the chroma... maybe i am tapped?

Anne , I think was one off on 5PB and this is in one of the problem areas of the bullseye for sure.

What I see is that at 5%Fuchsia you get 5PB and at 10%, it is too much.  Since Fuchia is such a high chroma dye I'd like to add as much as possible without changing the hue; what would 8% Fuchsia look like?

The other way to increase chroma is increase DOS total.  From your data DOS 3.5% 100% blue gives a value of 4/ so that is too dark but would DOS total of 3.3% increase the chroma while the value stayed the same?

So I might try DOS 3.3%, Blue 92%, Fuchsia 8%.  What do you think?
