I had the pleasure of meeting Vicki today at a super yard sale put on by the Occone County Art Foundation. See identified me by my lovely face as seen here. Vicki was there because a weaving friend, who I also know, told her there was a warping mill and a tapestry loom for sale. I know she got the mill and I think see also got the tapestry loom. She also got one panel of drapes and Cheryl got all the rest. So Vicki if you find the drapes don't fit Cheryl will take them. I could not find any yarn or weaving books to resell here. But I did get a electric fondue pot w/adjustable themostat I hope to be able to use with chocolate. Vicki I hope you had a safe trip back to Dubin. The next time you are in the area call ahead and stop and see all of Cheryl's Macombers.

I am planning to visit soon, Michael. It was so cool to meet you and Cheryl!

The OCAF yard sale is a great event every year. You never know what you will find to pique your curiosity (and that you will just HAVE to carry home!) I am now the proud owner of a Balalaika that I plan to learn to play in my spare time. Loom time and Tune time, alternating.

Yes, I did buy the tapestry loom. But I think it has a piece (some pieces?) missing. Also, I don't think it was put together correctly. So I am on the net looking for a picture to help me straighten it out.

If anyone has any information about a J.L. Hammett floor tapestry loom, I would greatly appreciate it. It is about 4 feet wide and approx. 6 feet tall.

Don't worry, I am not going to stop weaving on my May Belle!

There is a trapestry group here as well. Try posting your request for information there. Also under resources look at looms. And do a search for information also.
