FOR SALE $900
40” Macomber Ad-A-Harness Loom
Type B5 – Folding

This is such a great loom – beautiful and easy to use. It is a natural-maple, 8-harness (expandable to 10-harness), 10-treadle jack loom. It folds easily and quickly to transport or to fit through a doorway. Included with the loom are 2 stainless steel reeds (12 dent and 8 dent), plenty of steel heddles, lease sticks, a reed hook, several boat shuttles, and the original instructions and booklet.

“My #1 most favorite loom is my… Macomber…The loom is very stable and durable. It can weave linen, mohair, wool, silk, tencel, cotton, qiviut, camel, alpaca, or whatever you can think to throw it's way, and you can beat the livin daylights out of whatever you are using for weft without ever phasing this loom. It's a wonderful loom. If we were talking about cars, Macomber would be a Mercedes! (Yes, there are more expensive cars and there are more expensive looms, but Mercedes represents both performance and durability as well as stability, so it fits). I would recommend Macomber looms over any other loom available.” Cherri Hankins, Fiber artist

The listing says that loom has never been woven on, and it's 34 years old. Would love to hear the story behind that, wouldn't you? Not one but TWO sectional warp beams. She's a gorgeous monstress!
