Hey all,

I'm about to line one of my end-feed shuttles with fur in hopes that it will help restrain a springy yarn that wants to leap off the pirn.  But I don't know whether the fur should point forward or backwards on the pirn, i.e. whether the emerging yarn should ruffle up the fur or sleek it down!  Any ideas?  Anyone with an old shuttle with fur in it, who can take a look and tell me?

Sleek it down - if it ruffles it the yarn could get caught up and tangled in the fur.......
