Anne, I sure could use a bullseye of yours to understand some of your choices.  Linda and Donna post one when you get there, it is the most valuable tool you have in mixing colors.

Just a reminder:  use hue considerations to chose your 1st and 2nd dyes, then get close in value,±1, then start to adjust the chroma.  Chroma is effected by everything; if you change the % of the colors, the chroma usually changes, and DOS  effects chroma.  It is usually the hardest one to manipulate.
