Did anyone get an email about this?  Would really be nice if a new post to this group would generate an email to group members.

 

I can not find a place to specify I want email notification with this open group.  Does anyone know how?

So far, my understanding is that when you create a brand new post, folks don't get email on that - at least I didn't get one on your post you made.  However, now that I am commenting on your post, I have the ability below to where I'm typing this note to check that I want to receive "all comments" or "replies to my comment".  So, if you comment back to me on this thread, I should receive an email that you did that as I'm checking "all comments".

yeah, I got an email, but that really doesn't do what I think we need.  How would anyone even know I had put out a post, to come and reply, without being notified by email?

Carol, It's Judy just replying to your post to do another test before we do a notice to group.  I'm using another person's id that is not a group member to see if it works.

Yes, Judy, I got an email about this.  But I really don't see how this will help the guild communicate.
