About me

Although I have lived in 5 countries, I presently like in Amman, Jordan and am a returnee. The fiber community here is virtually non-existent, with acrylic being the most popular fiber choice. I hope to learn more about whatever fiber is here and hopefully try to generate interest in expanding on whatever is presently being done.

I began weaving in Orlando FL with the Weavers of Orlando and am a continuing member. I learned to spin in Kentucky and bought my first fleece and prepared it, in Connecticut. I especially like working in linen and in using Swedish, Scandinavian or Huck in weaving. I have a 40" 4H Harrisville and a Leclerc of similar size.

I am an educator, but don't work outside the home at present.
