- About me
I really love weaving. Exploring unusual weave structures is my favorite. Right now I am exploring Boundweave, Taquete' and Theo Moorman. In the future I would like to try the Bateman weaves, continue learning kumihimo and work on backstrap weaving. I also enjoy inkle, tablet and bead weaving. I think I have a bead fetish, I have as many beads as yarn! They are so pretty and sparkly!
I am a seamstress, knitter, weaver and spinner. A dream of mine was to grow my fiber (sheep), harvest it, spin it, weave it and then sew a garment out of it. I've accomplished my dream and it is very rewarding.
My SO and I travel across the US for about 3 months a year on business and we spend 6 months (winter) in southwest Florida. I visit many yarn and weaving shops along the way.
