- About me
I've been weaving for a long time, but not very intensely. I learned to weave around 1980 on a rigid heddle loom. Then we moved to an old house that we renovated, and crafts got set aside for a few years. In 1988 I discovered the Society of Creative Anachronism and dug out spinning, weaving, and other fiber arts. I built an Inkle loom and did a lot of inkle and cardweaving, but increasing arthritis had me set aside weaving in favor of bobbin lace. A couple of years ago I borrowed a warp weighted loom. I had to return it but want to build my own soon. I got involved with Weavolution by reading Tien's blog.
