bbkirk, Dena is right. HD makes replacements for the leather cords that lift the harnesses. They are breaded, plastic coated wire. If you do get them, they do not come with very good instructions. You can adjust to make the harnesses even by moving the one clamp in the middle of the wire where the wire loops. ( It is not crimped down. The two end clamps are crimped). Woollylamb, Yes Texsolv heddles will fit your Dryad. I replaced my heddles and they fit good..................Steve.
Whenever I to a craft fair, I will bring along my Dryad loom. It always interests the young an older alike. I will let them weave a few inches. They really become interested. Then I tell them that they can get a loom in a smaller scale and smaller price (ridged heddle) and start weaving for themselfs. The interest is still there, we just have to stir it up.........Steve
