About me: I live in Colorado Springs, and I'm a stay at home mom. We have a woolly-coated Siberian Husky, two Labradors, and a German Shepherd who are as thrilled as the kids to be living where there are four seasons. I'm an avid reader of fantasy, and just as avid a bead worker and video gamer. I've been beading, both on-loom and off, for about twenty years, though with a toddler in the house I haven't been able to really sit down with it for awhile. I've always wanted to learn to weave, so now is my chance! I just bought my first table loom, inkle loom, Kumihimo loom, and weaving sticks. So I've a lot to learn, and with any luck my daughter will be as interested in weaving as she is in beading! Of course, right now her interest has more to do with spending time with mom than any real desire to craft, and I will take any excuse I can get to hang out with my kids while they still think I'm cool, but I hope that she does develop a true interest in some type of crafting.
