My name is Robert Schweitzer.
I'm a high school chemistry teacher who doesn't get nearly enough time to weave.
I've had a couple of my pieces on display in museums, but generally I just weave for fun.
I occasionally teach classes on tablet weaving, and recently taught at WASOON 2008 - a weaving conference in northern Ontario.
My current and never ending project is the re-creation of a 17th century ethiopian curtain. There is an article on the project in the fall 2008 edition of TWIST.
