- About me
Hey, I'm Andrea from Germany and apart from some attempts during early childhood, I learned (tablet-)weaving in 1998 but didn't start properly until 2000. Since then I have been weaving numerous bands and I'm still exploring the seemingly infinite possibilities of patterning with such simple weaving devices as small tablets. In the meantime I'm teaching beginners to advance classes in tablet weaving. 2002 I added Rigid Heddle band-weaving to my techniques, followed by weaving cloth on rigid heddle and 4-shaft-looms in 2009. In weaving cloth I'm still a bloody beginner.

Tablet-weaving in different beginner's and advance classes: Basic class; Advance classes to: doublefaced weaving, twill, Indonesian doubleface, historic tabletweaving (Celtic to late Middle Ages); special Kids' classes/activities (usually combined with events in museums) Classes in other textile techniques: Nalbindning, natural dyeing, spinning (drop-spindle)
