About me

I am 56, a long-time seamstress, quilter, knitter, and handwork enthusiast. I am enjoying learning about hand weaving. I bought the 12" Ashford Knitters Loom before the wider 20" came out. This past year I invested in the floor stand and 2nd heddle, which should keep me going for a while.  I am considering incorporating weaving into my sewing and knitting sometime in the future. 

I work full-time and also frequently visit my 88 yr-old mom who is in a nursing home needing care because of dementia. So weaving and all the other creative outlets are a hobby for me but keep me sane in trying times.
