My birthday is in May, and I have already told my family that four more shafts, lamms and treadles are on the top of my wish list. As my loom is a Glimåkra, it can easily be converted to a CM later, if I find the CB set up too limiting. I would like to spend some time getting to know the loom with CB tie up first, though. It can only help my weaving skills if I try (and do a whole lot of failing, too) a CB before converting it to CM. As you point out, most woven fabric in Scandinavia was made on CB looms for a loooong time.
