- About me
I live in the western side of New York state about 20 miles from Niagara Falls and the Canadian border. We have a small farm where we live with our beloved Collies, our bunny who lives in the house with us, and three pet sheep. I custom spin dog hair for a living, but I love to spin the wool from my sheep and blend it with silk and Alpaca.
I weave on my two Kromski rigid heddle looms, and recently bought a Hammett floor loom to make rag rugs. I also have an antique barn frame loom, and two other floor looms. (Plus 5 spinning wheels) My husband and I have restored our nineteenth century barn, and build a wonderful weaving and spinning studio inside. I spend most of my day in the studio creating.
