- About me
I am a clinical social worker, hypnotherapist and life/small business coach by day; by night, my fiber addiction runs rampant! jerrishankler.wordpress.com
Weaving and spinning keep me sane. Weavers and spinners have become my community, the people I turn to and the places I go to recharge, renenergize, relax and connect to my creativity.
I raise Angora Rabbits. The herd is currently 6. Amelia Earhart, is a white German, about 5 years old; The rest are French/German crosses: Charlotte, wild grey and Lady Godiva, chocolate brown; CinderElla, black and the mother of Charlotte, Godiva and Spike; Sigmund, fawn and the father of the afore mentioned; and my bestest buddy Spike, Wild Chestnut. He's in the pic with me. He travels with me to guild meetings, sales and occasionally, does pet therapy in my office. indigorabbittree.wordpress.com
I've got pounds of shorn angora waiting to be processed on my PG Supercard. Paula says you can pay for the thing by processing and selling the fiber. Sure......So far, I'd say I've earned about 10% of the cost, not counting my time :) But I do love doing it, and I get positive feedback from my customers.
- I am a teacher
- I teach
spinning...hmmm, go figure.
I have lead workshops in my guilds, and hope to get proficient enough
someday to teach weaving and dyeing. Got to start somewhere.
