- About me
I started early with weaving, but really took off with it in the mid 90's. I still have my first loom, a LeClerc Fanny, currently weaving wool log cabin, rug type yarn, which fulls to something very soft. I have a LeClerc Penelope tapestry loom (I have an image of Odyssius & Penelope unweaving at night with this one). I also have a couple swedish tapestry looms and two small tapestry travel looms.
I have an 8H Schacht table loom on legs. Currently I have silk singles sett 40epi in 8H Huck lace. I dyed part of the yarn; this is for a weaving challenge in my guild... from last year. I'm not too far behind.
I also have a Dix 4H direct tie-up, which might get a scarf warp on it. I bought this used from the original owner - it was manufactured in the '50's in Ohio. I did a bit of refurbishing & it works very nicely.
I've recently purchased the Dix's big sister loom, work needed. This one weaves about 38", the other is 22". Also in this purchase is a sweet little LeClerc Nilet - 2H counterbalance table loom, needs a part.
