I am danish, living in the north of Norway (north of the polar circle).
Shortly after moving to Norway I joined a weaving class and did my first weaving. At the same time I borrowed a smal table loom and dressed it and made cloth for a jacket. The jacket was never finished because the woollen fabric surprised my by becoming much narrower than calculated. In 2000 i bought my first loom, and since the I have been weaving regularly when not tending to my full time job or my two houses with gardens.
