I'm at the stage of my weaving life where I want to share what I have learned in all these years. My background includes a degree in studio art, designing and weaving inlay and tapestry fabrics for a fashion designer in NY in the 80's, sample weaving for textile companies and production weaving for a scarf designer in the 90's while at the same time working as a part-time legal secretary for a large Manhattan law firm to make ends meet. I also sold my work in those days through shops and galleries. In February '09, I started a weaving blog where periodically I post images of my weavings, past and present, along with weaving drafts of the weaves and as much information as possible to show how I wove them. I also have images of my favorite pieces on the gallery pages. You are all invited to visit. I'm also thrilled to be part of Weavolution and want to read about and view everyone's weaving world.
