- About me
I mostly weave as part of my medieval re-eanctment (SCA). I love weaving historical textiles!
My mother taught me to weave when I was about 12. When she passed away she still had my first weaving project and pastel purple and pink scarf. It now decorates my home along with several other projects we wove together and projects I've woven on my own.
Since that first pastel scarf I have developed a love of jewel tones and a wide range of weaving techniques. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I could happily stay home with Lily the Lurcher and weave the day away in my cozy studio. Until then I'll keep earning my living teaching history and regailing my students with lots of weaving related examples!
