About me

I started weaving to have a demonstration for Ren Faires... oops, the bug caught me and now I weave every day and often sell my work to pay for my 'hobby'. I have built all my looms, three inkle, a tablet loom, a marudi (sp?) and various lucet, knitting spools and whatever seems handy.

SCA is my new home for crafting and I have branched out into copper forging/jewelry making and tent making. Generally I am one who finds a need or desire and figures out how to make it for my self out of reclaimed things.

I love to laugh and meet fine new friends. My goal now is to make and learn to weave larger, wider and more creative, perhaps moving to a backstrap loom or some such. I joined this site to learn and network. I especially would like to meet weavers in my area, San Diego, CA.
