The sample books in the library at the Handweaving Museum are treasures, as they include amazing hand-watercolored drafts (like the one captured here). There are some beautiful woven samples to accompany the illustrations. (Yes, Franco, they even had books on Sprang!)
1) Be able to load photos from smart phones (iphone or android). If you want to boost content and frequent views, not being able to do this is currently a huge barrier, especially compared to what Rav offers.
2) Be able to load photos consistently to threads. It will take one, maybe two images, that is all. It times out after that. If I change locations, I sometimes can load one or two more, but then it times out again.
Both #1 and #2 are a huge deterrent to photo loads, especially when attending a festival or fiber event. I have been having this recurrent problem for 2 years now. Project loads, no problem.
3) A "better" search is an understatement. Search has never been very good, especially when trying to find users.
I know these probably aren't easy fixes, but I think they are critical to the sustainability of the site, long term.
