I always HATE things I have woven when I take them off the loom. Really sick of looking at them. Recently I visited my sister and saw a gorgeous rag rug in her bathroom. Asked her where she bought it (feeling a little hurt she had bought it from someone else) and she replied "You gave it to me!" So--weaving always looks better if you think someone else is the weaver. Try putting your rug away for a while--you'll be amazed how fast rugs improve when hidden in a dark closet!
I bought a 20+ a couple of years ago from Woolhouse. It is wonderful for changing the tie-up! At 66 my joints just couldn't handle all that getting down on the floor (and of course the phone would ring just then!).
Can anyone suggest how to improve the shed? I use two boards and 2 sturdy C-clamps to hold them all at the same level while tying up, but still have uneven results.
