Your Ruana is absolutely gorgeous. I had wanted to make one too on my Union 36 loom, maybe I will soon. I do know how family can drain you of all emotional and physical energy. Seems like I have also experienced that for the past 2 years. Nothing we can do about it except pray, and we feel so helpless. Hope it gets better for you soon. Your work is awesome!

Your yarns are gorgeous. Have you spun long? I have done a turkish drop spindle for about 2 years, and got my Ashford Traditional Wheel in September last year. Love it. We raise suri alpacas and I have spinning yarn from them and it is pretty fine. I have decided that I will weave something from them. My husband also wants to make a triangle loom for me and that would be nice to weave their yarns on that as well. Keep up the good work.
