Kade - That is really helpful info. I have never weaved anything before and kind of 'ended up' with this loom (very gratefully!). So I have just been trying to bumble my way through getting it set up on my own.
I guess I was just being a bit silly, thinking that I had to put the texsolv pegs EXACTLY where I saw them in the picture. I think that i will be able to do it now and just leave a bit dangling.
Ahh! that is great news. Reedguy: Your photo is really helpful! I will get right on it. I do have the shaft holders and pins. I am really hoping that this will be my last setback!
Also, Michael, regarding the finish. Are you saying that it is ok to use linseed oil or not? Sorry, I am really not in the know, varnish wise. Or loom wise for that matter.
