Hagen tapestry frame loom
This is a metal frame loom from Norway. String leashes are tied for each warp to allow one shed to be opened; the other shed is held open with a shed stick.

Found this loom in a corn-crib a-bit-east-OHIO,IL, where it was shipped to Anna Walton on 4/13/1918, but not-quite-the-same as it was completely-dimantled-in-dynamite-boxes!!!!!!!!!! Upon I/D/Inventory, found lots miss'n, but w/ help from younger brother, # 7599 (12/7/1950), and great-help from Leslie Johnson @ RIVERSIDE LOOMWORKS ( <rivloom@sbcglobal.net), we swiped parts from the work'n-loom-to-git-little-bro-ta-weav'n!!!!!!!!!!! Then went back to #7599 and modified things abit-ta-git-him-ta-weav'n!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this loom just-a-little-west-a-ROCK FALLS, IL, my birthplace, complete w/ all-gadgets, took-it-to-the-shop-to-eliminate-the-'FLY'N '. These W/D's are ' HEAVY-BUILT ' for RAG-RUG-WEAV'N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did some modif'n for better=weav'n!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this'n in the ' OLD MAIN STREET ART CENTER " in Yellville, AR., with ennuf-parts-miss'n that the owner didn't want to bother, so 'GAVE' it to us for-what-she-had-in-it. Got a manual from JANET MEANY @ weaversfriend.com & went-after-it, mak'n-what-it-took-ta-git't-ta-weav'n!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a ' BEATER-ACTUATED ' shaft-lifting mechanism, like our Newcomb's ' WEAVERS DELIGHT ' s, # 3538 & # 7599.
