Knitting cotton

A soft, multi-ply cotton sold for knitters. It's cushion-y and slightly elastic, even though it's an all-cotton yarn.
Spinning Cashmere
I got this roving from my LYS. It was from a weaver/spinner that was selling all her equipment and stash. I wanted to spin it fine for a shawl. I found a pattern for a honeycomb pattern in Spin-off. So far I have not been able to get the pattern to look right. I have tried #2 needles and #4, 2 was much too small, I may even need a #6. But I haven't got the pattern right, I'm wondering if there is an error in the pattern.
