Watermelon Weave
Tinkering around with some stash yarn and the simple loom, settled on two passes of lime to one of hot pink. I only have a little left on each shuttle, and I need to decide what to do with the rest of the warp. Ack!
My Favorite 2 harness rug pattern stripe
This one is my most favorite threading I do for rag rugs. I thread it up so there are an even number of stripes, then if i wish to weave 2 placemants side by side, I can easily split the pattern in half to make symetrical mats
I love simple designs that make impressive looking patterns, and enjoy using 2 harness plain weaves for showing folks how creative they can be with only 2 harnesses. I teach often on 2 harness union looms, and having a few of these patterns available can make learning fun and result in an interesting rug or totebag in plain weave.
