Notes:

I am working on a scarf that I am weaving out of my very own handspun yarn from my very own Border Cheviot sheep.

FINALLY finished my scarf.  Total length ended up at 73 inches (not including the tassels).  Part of the delay was that I ran out of yarn and had to spin a bunch more in order to finish...  Was worth the wait!!!

Great!

Really lovely project in concept and execution!  You have managed to create a cable-look woven scarf with your OWN wool! Kudos.

Thank you.

Yes, both warp and weft are my handspun yarn...

Thank you

Thank you for the compliments...  The sheep did the hard work growing the fiber!

I am really happy to have found such a wonderful and creative outlet for the wool and my time!  I have also been lucky to have met some very fun and supportive friends through weaving...  all who have offered SO much knowledge and encouragement.

Nice!

Your wool looks very soft and expertly spun.

Looks lovely

I can't wait to see it off the loom and finished.  I'm imagining how that yarn will fluff up and make a thick and wooly scarf.
