This design is by  KimMarie Bunke, as published in "The Best of Weavers, Twill thrills"  Her design had five hearts across.  With the yarn I was using, I adjusted the design to only one heart wide.

Very nice! What kind of yarn did you use? Did you have problems with long floats with this draft?

Dave, I wondered about the long floats before I started.  They posed no problems when weaving, but if there are problems with wearing, only time will tell.   Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Yikes!!  I entered the yarn info, but it isn't showing up?!?!  

The warp is silk,  The weft is homespun merino (70%) and seacel (30%)

I think I saw the original

I think I saw the original scarf handing in a weaving shop years ago. It's a spectacular pattern, isn't it?

Overshot is so fascinating, because the designer of the pattern gets a single shaft to do so much design work. IMHO, you get a lot of bang for your buck!
