Notes:

Someone on Weavolution (I think) made a bag out of a long strip of handwoven fabric.  I thought it was a very clever design and wanted to do one of my own as a tote for water bottles.  I sewed the seams by hand and cut short fringe on the ends.  I would probably hem the ends if I was at home and had access to my sewing machine.

I found the source of this design ... well, at least where I found it.  It's http://donisdelis.blogspot.com/2009/01/l...

I like your bag!!

I was also inspired by the bag described at that website.  Because my strips were much smaller I did a zigzag setup that was stitched together and then a braided strap added.  It seemed like a lot of  "finish" work but the outcome was worth it!

I reall like this. Just

I reall like this. Just finishing a rag project on loom. Believe I will warp for this next. So many people carry water bottles around with them and this would be an ideal gift for them? I may experiment a bit with size of the cotton utilized. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
