I wove two scarves using two treadling variations. I used relatively fine weft and so this project seemed to take forever to weave off. Particularly scarf #2! It was hard to get decent pictures due to the high sheen off the silk weft when my flash went off.

Nice design, yarns, everything!

What loom did you use?

Your work is always superb!
Ooooooh! Aaaaaah! Lovely as usual. I'm off to read your blog.

Thank you for your comments! I listed my loom as as Louet Spring 12 shaft / 36" width but for some reason it didn't show up when I posted the project. I'll try editing it back in....
Thanks! Susan
So sophisticated!

It is beautiful, Susan.
Try taking pictures without the flash, I sometimes find that's better for shiny things.
Hi Ellen,
Trust me! I tried everything and every setting including no flash and another setting called 'landscape' where it uses the natural ambient light. They turned out way too dark! I end up using one of the better shots and then manilupating the image later to improve it as best I could.
I like your new avatar picture! I must get a new one of myself but hard to do when I hide when the camera comes out!
Susan
Yes it can be really tricky sometimes. I have had to post some really bad photos of very fine silk shawls, found no way to work around it. I think you did really well.
Thanks for your comment about my avatar. I chose one my cousin took of me on my 60th birthday, an occasion when I couldn't avoid cameras anyway, so .....take courage and just do it ;-) It didn't hurt!
Lovely scarf and the colours look as though they glow
