Two portions to the draft, Block A and Block B.... weave and end on Block A. The goals were iridescence (in tighter plain weave areas) by using 2 colours of similar value.
The 10/2 Tencel for both warp and weft gives a lovely shine and it was great to weave up. Good hard pressing really brought out the sheen.
I found that treadling 1 through to 12 also produced a pleasing pattern that I will try next time!

Wow, that looks fantastic. Makes me want to try and make a max 10 shaft version :-)
I love the way you make those colours play together!
Thank you Ellen!
Yes, feel free to give it try and I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I'm sure it will be lovely given the other work you have done!

Ge-or-geous!!! Just ge-or-geous!
How did you start and finish your scarf, is it the first two picks repeated over for a couple of repetitions in the red weft? It does not look like plain weave. It is not noted in our draft? I'd like to call folks attention to it in the scarf finish group as an example of highlighting your start and finish with such a nice color balance. thank you for sharing Deb
:) Why Thank-kee you!

Hi Deb
I treadled 1 to 4 three times at the start (and 4 to 1 at the end) and then started the pattern in black (or antique gold) I kept the beads to a minimum due to the lovely shine on the fine fringe. The tencel was 10/2 that came to me by way of Textura Trading and it was exceptionally shiney.
I like to start and end scarves this way occassionally to avoid the abrupt transition that can happen with some patterns and yarns.
Please feel free to share with the group...
