I've decided to go more green and stop using paper towels. I had 2 cloth kitchen towels to my name which were very old and worn out. I had no choice but to lock myself in the loom room and make some. :D These are pretty much samplers. Pattern 8776 at handweaving.net. http://handweaving.net/PatternDisplay.as... I did a little bit of overshot on some of them. To do that, I added 2 sets of string heddles behind the reed (it was faster than hand picking each time).  The colors are #10 crochet cotton.

I have my old ratty distowels to mop spills,and my handwoven ones, I have 7 now, are for drying dishes only. 6 were from an exchange and one was a housewarming present.

I really like the sampling you did with different borders and color splashes.

Yeah for green!
