This scarf is for my dad's birthday.  It's a bit shorter than I anticipated (monumentally stupid warping error on my part) but Dad says that's ok, he's a one-wrapper anyways. Hahaha!

I like the pattern. The scarf looks nice and soft. Sharon

Color blending

I really admire the color gradation and color blending that you did! It's very handsome.

lucky dad!

This is very elegant with all the subtle color gradations and the diamonds that wiggle a bit rather than the usually expected straight form. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone! I love this

Thanks everyone!

I love this draft. It has lots of long floats in warp and weft, but this particular weft yarn is very sticky (I wouldn't even TRY to put it in a boat shuttle) and so it holds it together quite well. I don't know that I would want to try it with smoother weft without throwing in tabby shots.

I'd love to claim credit for the color gradation, but that's all in the weft yarn too: Lion Brand Amazing. This particular colorway is called Olympia and I quite like it for gifts for guys, since it doesn't come out looking remotely frou-frou or too "crafty". :-)
