Notes:

I've been working on a big book of new potholder loom designs for the last year. The Gossamer Wings Butterfly shawl turned out so spectacular that I decided to release it as a stand alone pdf pattern.  It is full of metaphoric meaning for me, as I love the tiny Gossamer Wing Butterflies that dance around our home in the springtime. They are such lovely creatures that I needed to celebrate them in the best way that I knew how... to design a shawl in their honour. I spun the yarn with lots of different fibers and a strong smattering of angelina, to make the colors shimmer and shift.

The shawl is very comfortable to wear. The front forms a neat, subtle pattern, while the back drapes in a really flattering way. The neck has a slight stand up collar.  It took many, many, many iterations to arrive at the final design and I am thrilled!  The pattern is available on my website: http://www.crone-findlay.com/Crone-Findl...
