I made a simple spiral Kumihimo braid to attach to a zipper pull on a coin purse, to use as a handle. I made the braid again to use as trim on some velvet pincushions I am making. I added one end of metallic thread to the braid- that little bit of glitter made a big difference in the look of the braid- it looks much more decorative and special
