Notes:

I ran out of the magenta yarn I was using for background color so I used hot pink for one section.  Seeing how it wove up, I will use stripes of different colors for the next warp and designate the handpainted warp as my background.  I don't feel this threading showcased the beauty of the handpainted warp to it fullest.  Overall I am happy with the project, just seeing new ideas for the next weaving.

the draft was for a rug but I am seeing this as a tote bag or possibly a table runner due to the density of the fabric.

I do love doing painted warps

I do love doing painted warps myself, and I like yours. Your complementary color scheme is really set off by that hit of yellow/orange. Unexpected. In fact it's close to being a triad. Whatever the color theory, or even better intuitive :) Very nice. Did you use Procion?

painted warp

I ordered these warps from Kathrin Webber at Blazing Shuttles.  Dying is not my thing.  She does fabulous work.  I have a blue-green warp also.  Thinking of putting purple-black with that one.  These were perle cotton, she also does chenille, rayon, silk.  Prices are very reasonable.  This warp was 5 yds.
