This is a coil-woven vessel created using a figure-8 stitch around a core of jute using several weaving yarns and a novelty knitting yarn to create the pattern. The vessel is created from the bottom up in a continuous spiral and the design during the coiling process.

That is a lovely shape and great use of color.

It is reminisent of the desert southwest USA. I too make bakets in this fashion but with a bit of a differnt twist. Great to see your work. Just joined the site last night so I am still getting to know how to post. Look forward to seeing more.

Very nice!

I used to live in Texas,you have that terrific Southwest design vibe-I really like  vessel forms -this one is lovely.I'm looking forward to seeing  more of your work
