The shadow weave coupled with the bag's style looks great. I love this bag - in fact I made it a "favorite item" on etsy just this morning, before I saw it posted here! A truly original look.
that looks so wonderful. I'd also love to know where you got the pattern for the bag. I like those nice chunky handles and I haven't found a shopping bag pattern I like yet.
I used many different shadow weave patterns from: 1000 (+) patterns in 4, 6, and 8 harness shadow weaves: Marian Powell:
The bag measures 27" (69cm)long by 11 1/2"(30 cm)wide. The handle is 17" and the body of the bag is 11 1/2" deep . It is woven in one long strip abpout 108Inches by 5 inches wide. The idea for the bag came from:
