This a really fun weave structure. I inserted oval spangle sequins randomly in the pockets, so it's quite glittery, but hard to get the glitz in the picture.
Kathie, Would be interested in knowing what weight rayon you used, I am weaving a table runner in rayon 20/2 weight now. Also have you tryed weaving cotton and rayon together and if so what did you think of the results? Like the project.
Sorry to say that I don't know weight that rayon is. I bought it on eBay as a boucle. It's not exactly my idea of boucle, there are no circles of yarn plied in, but it's like a zig-zag, mini rick-rack. It's been fun to work with and it dyes like a dream. Wish I'd bought another cone or 2 of it. I haven't tried weaving rayon and cotton together, but that sounds like a great idea. I'll keep that in the back of my mind as do my dyeing this summer.
