Notes:
Custom shuttles made to fit 6" bobbins. Shuttle to left is walnut featherwood top/bottom with tiger maple as 2nd layer. Shuttle to right emphasizes curly cherry. Note that standard 6" plastic bobbins made nowadays have rims that are WAY too wide for those weavers preferring looms with narrow sheds. The bobbin rims had to be modified (sanded down) to fit these narrower height shuttles.
