Warp and pattern weft are both short run yarns I got at CHT. Warp is from Plain and Fancy Sheep and Wool Company www.wildflowerfiber.com and the supplementary weft is from Butterfly Girl Designs, who also has an Etsy shop at butterflygirldesigns.etsy.com. The background weft is a strand each of Socrates and Zephyr. I'm weaving in a 1-3 pickup on a rigid heddle loom. The Novelty yarn will be in the hooded part, with the scarf in plainweave and just the background weft.

I really like the weave structure you're using for this project, it shows off the nature of the chunky novelty yarn so well!
I hope you post a pic of the finished scarf......I've not seen a hooded scarf before.
