The second picture looks like

The second picture looks like a real working space!

I love Munkabälte and hope you will show more, later on. Wich yarn do you use? Is it linen?

Hi Marie

That looks promising!

The funny thing for me is I have just finished a set of linen place mats in Munkebælte and have taken the photos of the finished project this morning before I logged on. Mine are a very straight pattern, though. I'll put them on here soon, just need to get them onto the computer.

Enjoy weaving yours :-)

:)

Two of my favorite weavo peeps!  We'll see where this one goes. :)

yarns-- the warp and background is 8/1 swedish lingarn, and the pattern in this sample is a linen knitting yarn.. that's really pretty.. I'm planning on the bigger piece being a red ramie from Habu.

So fascinating

This combination of traditional pattern and technology thrills me!

There is something about that disconnect that I find really compelling...
