Notes:

I've been interested in  combining shibori with texture for awhile now. I wove this lace as towels  first then decided to use the same draft for a set of scarves.  The draft comes from an old Weaver's magazine Summer of 96 (Oh how I miss Weaver's) Issue 32. Once the scarves were woven I seperated, zigzagged and wrapped them on the pole. I used some carpet warp and wrapped the pole then scrunched it down then dyed them. The first was the blue  with sabracet dye, Second was yellow sabracet that didn't work at all using rubber bands as resists, Third was the Logwood extract  purple scarf. The yellow scarf got a second  over dyeing in random areas with blue sabracet, it blended to make green.  These scarves turned out just the way I pictured them in my mind.
