Notes:

I had done this draft before, also with tencel, and they were so popular that I had none left for myself, so when a good friend gave me some of the dark tencel, I just loved doing more of them. On the last one I played a little with the size of the blocks :-)

Beautiful

I love block designs and these are simple and elegant. The drape looks very nice and they are shimmery! Lucky people who get to own these!

Tencel

I am wondering how it is to work with pure tencel yarns - how do they perform? I have read some complaints about yarns being extremely slippery..

Tencel

Hi Astrotravellin and Sally.

It was tencel 8/2 and I found it easy, strong and pleasant to work with. My only complaint is that it is so hard to come by over here, I have to send for it from USA, Finland or Germany. Danish yarn shops just don't go in for it.

When you have finished the project, don't take what you get on face value. Wait till you have washed and ironed it, that brings out the drape and shine!

decision

Thanks for posting your project. I have some tencel and was wondering if I wanted to do a block twill with it. After seeing your I have made my decision, block twill it is.
